About the City of Loudon Fire Department
The City of Loudon Fire Department provides fire protection to approximately 15 square
miles within the city limits of Loudon, TN, serving approximately 5,000 citizens. A
strong industrial 24-hour workforce raises that total to over 10,000 customers
at any given time. Our department is a career department with 30 members.
In addition to fire protection and suppression, our department also provides
First Responder Medical Services, trained hazardous materials technicians, and
vehicle accident extrication. The City of Loudon Fire Department is prepared
to respond to emergency calls 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
Mission Statement
The mission of The City of Loudon Fire Department is to protect and minimize the loss
of life and property resulting from fires, medical emergencies, hazardous material
incidents, and other emergencies.
We accomplish our mission through aggressive public fire education and preventative
programs such as Fire Suppression, Emergency Medical Services, and Search and Rescue
Operations.
We promote safety and maintain a well equipped, highly trained, and motivated force
of disciplined and professional firefighters. We maintain a high level of readiness
and continually focus on the development and training of all personnel.
