Chief Mike Brubaker

Chief Brubaker has been with the department since 1996. He was promoted to Fire Chief in January of 2005. Prior to becoming Chief he served as the departments training officer for 4 years. Chief Brubaker is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, Public Fire and Life Safety Educator, Haz-Mat Tech, and EMT/IV with many other certifications as well. He has completed the Fire Officer II and Fire Officer III programs through the TN Fire and Codes Academy. Prior to becoming a Firefighter with Loudon Fire Department Chief Brubaker served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.

Captain Steve Johnson, February 11, 1961 - June 10, 2010

Captain Johnson was a member of The City of Loudon Fire Department for 25 Years. Steve also served our Country for 26 Years earning the rank of 1st Sgt. in the Tennessee Army National Guard. During his career with the Fire Department he served as Training Officer for many years, he also served as a Lieutenant and later as a Captain. Words can’t describe the impact he left behind. Steve solely developed, implemented and taught classes to new Firefighters for many years. At the time of his departure from us Steve had a part in training every full-time Firefighter and most part time Firefighters within the Department. Without Steve’s tireless and unselfish work for many years Loudon Fire Department wouldn’t be what it is today. Steve you’re forever our brother and forever in our hearts, we will dearly miss you! God Bless and eternal peace to you; our fallen brother, Friend, hero and mentor.

Captain Tom Johnson

Captain Johnson has been with the department since 1988. He is the Captain over A- shift and currently oversees all daily operations of Station #2. Captain Johnson is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Haz-Mat Tech, and EMT/IV with several other certifications. Tom oversees A- shift working out of station two.

Captain Mark Harvey

Captain Harvey has been a member of the department since 1990. He is the Captain over B- shift working out of station one and currently oversees departmental pre-plans and yearly fire hydrant flow testing. Captain Harvey also serves as the Chairman of the Local Emergency Planning Committee for Loudon County. He is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, Haz-Mat-Tech, and EMT/IV, with numerous other certifications. Mark oversees B- shift working out of station one.

Captain Travis Gray

Captain Gray has been with the department since 2001. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Haz-Mat Specialist, and EMT/IV. Travis has served as the department’s training officer since 2007. He has completed the Fire Officer II and Fire Officer III programs through the TN Fire and Codes Academy. Travis oversees C- shift working out of station one.

Firefighter David Williams

Firefighter Williams has been with the department since 1991. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Medical 1st Responder and a Haz-Mat tech. He works on C- shift at station two.

Firefighter Ricky Sutton

Firefighter Sutton has been with the department since 1998. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Medical 1st Responder and Haz-Mat Tech. He works on C- shift at station two.

Firefighter Andy Disney

Firefighter Disney has been with the department since 2004. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Fire Instructor I, Haz-Mat Tech, and EMT/IV. He works on B- shift at station two.

Fighter Eddie Williams

Firefighter Williams has been with the department since1985. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Medical 1st Responder, and Haz-Mat tech. For the past 10 years and more, Firefighter Williams has served as the departments Vehicle Extrication and Emergency Vehicle operations instructor. He works on B- shift at Station two.

Firefighter James (Bud) Nelms

Firefighter Nelms has been with the department since 1992. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Medical 1st Responder, and Haz-Mat tech. Bud also serves on the department’s arson investigation team. He works on B- shift at station one.

Firefighter Bill Geames

Firefighter Geames has been with the department since 2000. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Fire instructor I, EMT/IV, Haz-Mat tech and at the Rope rescue technician level. Bill also serves on the department’s arson investigation team. He works on C- shift at station one.

Firefighter Jimmy Russell

Firefighter Russell has been with the department since 1995. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Haz-Mat tech, and EMT/IV. He is also a certified CPR instructor through the American Heart Association and teaches many CPR classes to the public. He works on A- shift at station one.

Firefighter Anthony (Pup) Garner

Firefighter Garner has been with the department since 1995. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Haz-Mat tech, and EMT/IV. He also has extensive training in arson investigation and serves as the departments lead arson investigator. In 2008 he graduated from Cleveland State Police academy to add to his Arson Investigation duties. Anthony works on A- shift at station two

Firefighter Bryan Akins

Bryan is a part-time Firefighter. He joined Loudon Fire Department in 2006. He is certified at the Firefighter II level and is a EMT/IV. Bryan Graduated valedictorian from the Tennessee Fire and Codes Enforcement 8 week recruit firefighter academy in 2007.

Firefighter Bobby Shubert

Firefighter Shubert has been with the department since 2005. He is a full-time firefighter and is certified at the Fire Instructor I level, EMT/IV, Haz-Mat Technician, and Rope rescue technician level . Bobby works on B-Shift at station 1.

Firefighter Jamie Lively

Jamie is a part-time firefighter and joined our department in 2006. He is certified at the Firefighter I level and is an EMT/IV.

Firefighter Austin Beason

Austin is a part-time firefighter for our department, he joined the department in 2005. He is certified at the Firefighter I level and is a medical first responder.

Firefighter Trish Johnson

Trish is a part-time Firefighter. She has been a member of the department since 1991. Trish is certified at the Firefighter I level, EMT-B, and is a Haz-Mat Technician.

Firefighter Lynn Huffman

Lynn is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with the department since 2005. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, EMT/IV level and is a Haz-Mat Tech. He works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.

Firefighter David Hodge

David is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with the department since 2008. He is certified at the Firefighter I, EMT/IV level. He works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.

Firefighter Mike Hodge

Mike is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with the department since 2005. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, EMT/IV level and is a Haz-Mat Tech. He works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.

Firefighter Tim Jenkins

Tim is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with our department since 2009. He is a certified as a Medical First responder and at the Rope rescue technician level. Tim has extensive training and certifications in vehicle rescue/extrication.

Firefighter Alex Lennex

Alex is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with our department since 2009. He is a certified Firefighter I, EMT/IV and at the Rope rescue technician level. Alex is a graduate of the City of Loudon Firefighter Explorer program and in 2010 he attended the TN Fire and Codes academy recruit firefighter 10 week program.

Luv Curbow

Luv has been employed with the City of Loudon Since August 2006. She is the Secretary for the Fire and Police Departments.
