Chief Mike Brubaker


Chief Brubaker has been with the department since 1996. He was promoted to Fire Chief in January of 2005. Prior to becoming Chief he served as the departments training officer for 4 years. Chief Brubaker is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, Public Fire and Life Safety Educator, Hazardous Materials technician, and Advanced EMT with many other certifications as well. He is a certified CPR instructor through the American Heart Association. Mike has completed the Fire Officer II and Fire Officer III programs through the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy. Chief Brubaker is a member of the East Tennessee Regional Council of Fire Chiefs, Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association as well as the International Association of Fire Chiefs. Prior to becoming a Firefighter with Loudon Fire Department he served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.


Captain Steve Johnson, February 11, 1961 - June 10, 2010


Captain Johnson was a member of The City of Loudon Fire Department for 25 Years. Steve also served our Country for 26 Years earning the rank of 1st Sgt. in the Tennessee Army National Guard. During his career with the Fire Department he served as Training Officer for many years, he also served as a Lieutenant and later as a Captain. Words can’t describe the impact he left behind. Steve solely developed, implemented and taught classes to new Firefighters for many years. At the time of his departure from us Steve had a part in training every full-time Firefighter and most part time Firefighters within the Department. Without Steve’s tireless and unselfish work for many years Loudon Fire Department wouldn’t be what it is today. Steve you’re forever our brother and forever in our hearts, we will dearly miss you! God Bless and eternal peace to you; our fallen brother, Friend, hero and mentor.


Captain Tom Johnson


Captain Johnson Retired from the Department on July 17, 2015 after 27 years of faithful and dedicated service to the City of Loudon Fire Department. He served as an Officer since 2005 serving as a Lieutenant and Captain during that time. We thank you for your service and sacrifice to The City of Loudon.


Battalion Chief Mark Harvey


Battalion Chief Harvey has been a member of the department since 1990. He is the Departments only Battalion Chief and serves as second in Command, he was promoted to BC in April 2015. Chief Harvey oversees “ B”shift working out of station one and currently oversees all departmental pre-plans and yearly fire hydrant flow testing. He is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Fire Inspector I, Hazardous Materials technician, and Advanced EMT, with numerous other certifications. Mark is a certified CPR instructor through the American Heart Association. BC Harvey is a member of the Tennessee Fire Chiefs Association. Battalion Chief Harvey has served as a Lieutenant, Captain and Battalion Chief within the Department.


Captain Anthony (Pup) Garner


Captain Garner has been with the department since 1995. Captain Garner oversees “A” shift working out of Station 2. He was promoted to Captain in August 2013. He is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Hazardous Materials technician, Advanced EMT, and a Car seat safety Technician. He also has extensive training in arson investigation and serves as the departments lead arson investigator. In 2008 he graduated from Cleveland State Police academy to add to his Arson Investigation Credentials. Captain Garner is responsible for overseeing daily operations at Station 2


Captain Bill Geames


Captain Geames has been with the department since 2000. He was promoted to full-time Firefighter in February 2005 and promoted to Captain in August 2015. Captain Geames oversees “C” Shift working out of Station 1. He is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire instructor I, Advanced EMT, Hazardous Materials technician and at the Rope rescue technician level. Bill also serves on the department’s arson investigation team and is a Certified Vehicle Extrication Instructor and Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor. Captain Geames is the officer responsible for service and maintenance of all departmental equipment and Fire Apparatus.


Fighter Eddie Williams


Firefighter Williams has been with the department since 1985. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Emergency Medical Responder, and Hazardous Materials technician. For the past 15 years and more, Firefighter Williams has served as the departments lead Vehicle Extrication and Emergency Vehicle operations instructor. Eddie works on “C” shift at Station two.


Firefighter Jimmy Russell


Firefighter Russell has been with the department since 1995. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials technician, and Advanced EMT. Jimmy works on “B” shift at station Two.


Firefighter James “Bud” Nelms


Firefighter Nelms has been with the department since 1995. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Emergency Medical Responder, and Hazardous Materials technician. Bud also serves on the department’s arson investigation team. Bud works on “B” shift at station Two


Firefighter David Williams


Firefighter Williams has been with the department since 1995. He is a full-time firefighter and is a certified Firefighter II, Emergency Medical Responder and a Hazardous Materials technician. Dave works on “C” shift at station two.


Training Officer Andy Disney


Training Officer Disney has been with the department since 2004. He is a full-time firefighter and has served as the Departments Training Officer since 2011. Andy is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Hazardous Materials technician, Driver/operator, and Advanced EMT. He works on “A”-shift at station one.


Firefighter Alex Lennex


Firefighter Lennex is a Full Time Firefighter for our department and has been with our department since 2009. He is a certified Instructor I, Advanced EMT, Hazardous Materials technician, Car seat safety Technician and at the Rope rescue technician level. Alex is a graduate of the City of Loudon Firefighter Explorer program and in 2010 he graduated from the Tennessee Fire and Codes academy recruit firefighter 10 week program. Alex was promoted to Full-Time Firefighter in October 2013. He works on “C” shift at Station 1.


Firefighter Brandon Roberts


Firefighter Roberts was promoted to full-time Firefighter on January 1, 2015. He has been with the Department since August 2013. Firefighter Roberts is certified Fire Instructor I, Hazardous Materials Technician and Emergency Medical Responder. Firefighter Roberts has completed the necessary courses and training to be recognized as a Basic Chaplain. Prior to being hired with Loudon Fire Department Brandon was a full-time Firefighter with Lenoir City Fire Department for 5 years. Brandon works on “A” shift out of station 2.


Firefighter Jacob Turbeville


Firefighter Turbeville was promoted to the full-time Firefighter Rank on March 1, 2015. He has been with the Department since May 2013. Jacob is a certified Firefighter II, Hazardous Material 1st responder and advanced EMT. Firefighter Turbeville is certified at the rope rescue technician level and is also certified instructor through Tennessee Emergency Management Agency. Firefighter Turbeville works on “A” shift out of station 1.


Firefighter Bryan McFalls


Firefighter McFalls was promoted to full-time Firefighter on August 2, 2015. He has been with the Department since December 2013. In April 2014 Firefighter McFalls graduated from the Tennessee Fire Academy 10 week recruit Firefighter program. Bryan is a Certified Firefighter II, Hazardous materials 1st responder and EMT-Basic. Bryan works on “B” shift out of station 1.


Firefighter Bill Hart


Firefighter Hart has been with the Department since 1987. He is a part-time Firefighter with the Department. He is a certified Firefighter II, EMT basic, and Hazardous Material Technician. He works as a full-time Firefighter at a Facility in Oak Ridge.


Firefighter Bobby Shubert


Firefighter Shubert has been with the department since 2005. He is currently a part-time Firefighter. He was promoted to full-time firefighter in August 2010, resigning as a full-time firefighter in February 2015 accepting a position within the fire service to further his career. Firefighter Shubert is certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Advanced EMT, Hazardous Materials technician, and at Rope rescue technician level.


Firefighter Lynn Huffman


Firefighter Huffman is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with the department since January 2005. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, Advanced EMT level and is a Hazardous Materials technician. Lynn works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.


Firefighter Mike Hodge


Firefighter Hodge is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with the department since 2005. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, Advanced EMT level, Driver/operator and is a Hazardous Materials technician. Mike works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.


Firefighter Mike Dyer


Firefighter Dyer is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since December 2007. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, EMT Basic, and is a Hazardous Materials technician. Mike works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.


Firefighter Kevin Abercrombie


Firefighter Abercrombie is a part-time Firefighter and he has been with our Department since January 2010. He is a certified Fire Instructor I, Advanced EMT, Hazardous Materials Technician, Car seat safety Technician and Vehicle extrication Instructor. Kevin works as a full-time Firefighter with Lenoir City Fire Department.


Firefighter Tim Jenkins


Firefighter Jenkins is a part time Firefighter for our department and has been with our department since 2009. He is a certified Firefighter I, Emergency Medical responder and at the Rope rescue technician level. Tim is a vehicle extrication instructor and has extensive training and certifications in vehicle rescue/extrication.


Firefighter Brandon Phillips


Firefighter Phillips is a part-time Firefighter for our Department and has been with the Department since January 2014. He is certified Fire Instructor I, Paramedic, and Hazardous Materials Technician. Brandon is a full-time Firefighter with the City of Knoxville Fire Department.


Firefighter John Stringfield


Firefighter Stringfield is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since May 2013. He is a Certified Firefighter II, EMT Basic and Hazardous Materials 1st Responder.


Firefighter Stephen Spoon


Firefighter Spoon is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since August 2013. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, Advanced EMT level, Driver/operator and is a Hazardous Materials technician. Steve works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.


Firefighter Shawn Fox


Firefighter Fox is a part-time Firefighter with our Department. He has been with our Department since March 2014. He is certified Firefighter II, Advanced EMT, and Hazardous Materials Technician. Shawn has held numerous positions with various Emergency Service organizations. Shawn currently is employed full-time as a Fire engineer/Alarm Specialist.


Firefighter Burl “Eugene” Akins


Firefighter Akins is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since March 2014. He is certified at the Fire Instructor I, Advanced EMT level, and is a Hazardous Materials technician. Eugene works Fulltime with Lenoir City Fire Department as a Firefighter.


Firefighter Greg Johnson


Firefighter Johnson is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since October 2014. He is Certified Firefighter II, Emergency Medical Responder, and Hazardous Materials 1st Responder. Greg began his career with us as a Volunteer Firefighter and has worked his way to part-time Firefighter.


Firefighter Josh “Hamp” Richerson


Firefighter Richerson is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since October 2014 where he began as a Volunteer. He was promoted to part-time Firefighter in August 2015. Firefighter Richerson is Certified Firefighter I, EMT-Basic and Hazardous Materials 1st Responder.


Firefighter Lee Fadeley


Firefighter Fadelely is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since August 2015. He is certified at the Firefighter I, Emergency Medical Responder, and is a Hazardous Materials 1st Responder. Lee is a full-time Firefighter with the Vonore Fire Department.


Firefighter Tim McCarter


Firefighter McCarter is a part-time Firefighter for our Department. He has been with the Department since April 2015. Tim is a certified Fire Instructor I, EMT-Basic, and Hazardous Materials Technician. Tim was employed by the City of Knoxville Fire Department for 5+ years but has since changed full-time careers.


Firefighter Chelsea Carter


Firefighter Carter is a Volunteer Firefighter with our Department. She has been with the Department since November 2014. Firefighter Carter is a certified Firefighter I, and Hazardous Materials 1st Responder.


Firefighter Cristian Gonzalez


Firefighter Gonzalez is a volunteer Firefighter with our Department. He has been with the Department since November 2014. Firefighter Gonzalez is a Certified Firefighter I. In April 2015 he graduated from the Tennessee Fire Academies 10 week recruit Firefighter program.


Firefighter Colby Williams


Firefighter Williams is a volunteer Firefighter with our Department. He has been with the Department since November 2014. He is a Hazardous Materials 1st Responder.


Firefighter Travis Gray


Firefighter Gray has been with the department since 2001. He is a Volunteer firefighter and is a certified Fire Officer I, Fire Instructor I, Hazardous Materials Specialist, and Advanced EMT. Travis’s fulltime job is Building Inspector and Codes Enforcement Officer for the City of Loudon.


Secretary Luv Clifton


Luv has been employed with the City of Loudon Since August 2006. She is the Secretary for the Fire and Police Departments.
